Flips is a lightweight flightplan viewer for FS2004 that exports routes to Google Earth for a clear 3D look at waypoints, terrain, and nearby landmarks before departure. Version 1.1 improves compatibility by reading three flightplan formats, including plans edited directly in FS9, and requires Google Earth.

Flips is a small utility to view FS9 flightplans in Google Earth. View your entire flightplan in 3D and make sure your chosen waypoints don't let you miss exiting landmarks along your flight. Version 1.1 now is capable of reading those 3 variations and I hope it will solve the trouble that you may have had with reading your flightplans. Especially those flightplans were difficult to load that had been directly edited in FS9. Michael Rook.

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Place files per readme

FS2004 add-ons go into FS9\Aircraft\, FS9\Addon Scenery\, FS9\Gauges\, or FS9\Effects\.
