World Environment Upgrade version 2.0

World Environment Upgrade v2.0 refreshes the sim’s atmosphere with more realistic sky textures and lighting across every season and time of day in Flight Simulator. Updated visuals remove unwanted blue tinting and yellow fog while adding refined dawn and dusk skies, helping scenery and clouds look more natural from climbout to sunset.

This package will greatly enhance the world environment in Flight Simulator by adding more realistic sky textures and lighting for all phases of the day and seasons. This update corrects some of the issues from the previous version. The blue tinge that the previous package created on some of the textures has been fixed as well as the yellow fog effect. Also, new and more realistic sky textures for dawn and dusk have been included.

How to install this mod

flight simulator add-on

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Identify the target folder

Different simulators use different folder structures. Check the readme to confirm where files should be placed.
Copy files to the correct location

Drag the extracted folder into the location the readme specifies. Most add-ons just need to be in the right folder.
