Lockheed C-5 Galaxy brings heavy-lift military transport flying to Microsoft Flight Simulator X with a refreshed Kazunori Ito model, a dedicated Philippe Wallaert panel, and Christoffer Petersen sounds, packaged by Michael Roberts. The cockpit setup requires autothrottle enabled in the aircraft configuration for proper autopilot operation and stable cruise handling.

Unzip all files into the aircraft panel folder.

Important notes:

This panel needs the activation of auto-throttle. Please check that it is activated correctly in the autopilot section of aircraft.cfg.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D add-on

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place files per the readme

    Most FSX add-ons go into one of: SimObjects\Airplanes\, Addon Scenery\, Effects\, or Gauges\.

  3. Always read the included readme

    Unless I installed this aircraft incorrectly, it is not compatible with P3Dv4. No landing gear and parts of the aircraft do not show.

    Bummer, a good C5 for O3dv4 would really be nice.

    great plane even with only a 2d pit. The only issue I'm having is at takeoff. The c5 holds about 50k gallons of fuel. But in the flight planner it says thats 136000 lbs too much weight.

    No virtual cockpit-is there a fix. Hard to believe a 56mb download and no vc?
