FS2004 Orion Airways Viking 2 G-APAT

Orion Airways’ Vickers Viking 2 in registration G-APAT brings a regal airliner with Royal Flight heritage into civil service, capturing the type’s classic lines and period look in FS2004. The livery reflects its final operator before storage at Bournemouth, and requires the FSDS Vickers Viking model by Rick Piper.

A very regal aircraft indeed as this was built for the RAF Kings flight, later passing to the Queens flight. Brought into civil use by Eagle from whom Orion had purchased it, this was to be the last operator and it was withdrawn and stored at Bournemouth after the closure of Orion and broken up shortly afterwards. Requires the FSDS Vickers Viking model by Rick Piper. Repaint by Garry Russell.

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
  2. Place files per readme

    FS2004 add-ons go into FS9\Aircraft\, FS9\Addon Scenery\, FS9\Gauges\, or FS9\Effects\.
  3. Always read the included readme

Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
