FS2004 British Island Airways Douglas DC-3

British Island Airways Douglas DC-3 repaints recreate the airline’s 1970-era scheme and markings for three aircraft registrations, ideal for period UK island and regional routes in FS2004. The textures bring an authentic historic look to the default model, reflecting the carrier’s final DC-3 years through 1974; requires the default DC-3.

Textures only for the default DC3. In 1970 with the prospect of British United being sold, British United Island Airways changed its name to British Island Airways and a new colour scheme was adopted for its aircraft. When later in the year British United joined with Caledonian airways, British Island Airways was not included in the sale and remained in the ownership of British & Comonwealth Shipping. British island Airways last DC-3 flight was in May 1974. Repaints by John Payne (original DC-3 base textures courtesy of Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumont). Requires default DC-3.
