Installation:

Download the Douglas DC-6B for FS9.
Copy the "texture.DATx" folders to the folder of your DC-6 aircraft.
Add the content of the sample_aircraft.cfg file to your aircraft.cfg file. Edit the [flightsim.x] lines according to your current aircraft.cfg.
