FSX Jet City Aircraft Boeing 717-200

Jet City Aircraft’s Boeing 717-200 gains a cleaned-up aircraft configuration that makes it appear correctly in the main selection menu and aligns it with default camera views in Microsoft Flight Simulator X. The update also includes texture JPEGs for proper livery presentation and requires the Jet City Aircraft B717-200 model.

A rewritten aircraft config for the Jet City Aircraft B717-200. This will allow you to view the aircraft in the main aircraft menu and with FSX default camera views. Requires the B717-200 model by Jet City Aircraft. By Dave Evans.

Extract zip to desktop open all folders and move the JPEG's to the corresponding aircraft texture folders in the main aircraft folder. Move the aircraft config file to the main aircraft folder and overwrite the file allready there.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D aircraft

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Copy aircraft files into SimObjects

Place the aircraft folder inside FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\. The folder must contain an aircraft.cfg file. Effects go into FSX\Effects\; gauges go into FSX\Gauges\.
Verify in FSX

Launch FSX, go to Free Flight → Select Aircraft and find your new aircraft under its manufacturer.
