Cub-yellow Cessna 172 N758KD brings a playful Piper J-3C-inspired look to the default Skyhawk, complete with matching markings for “Eastern Hops Cessna Sunday” flights. Designed for Microsoft Flight Simulator X, it refreshes the exterior textures while keeping the familiar cockpit and handling, and requires the default Cessna 172.

Copy and paste (or drag and drop) the "Texture.Yellow N758KD" folder into your FSX default Cessna 172 folder.
Copy and paste the enclosed [fltsim.X] info found below into your Cessna 172 "aircraft.cfg" file, remembering to change the "X" in [fltsim.X] to the next number in line among your Cessna 172 repaints. Then click 'file', then click 'save'.
Find this plane in your menu under "Cessna".

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D Repaint

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Add livery to base aircraft folder

Place the texture folder (typically texture.{airline}) inside FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\{base-aircraft}\.
Update aircraft.cfg

Open the base aircraft.cfg in Notepad. Add a new [fltsim.X] section per the readme.
