Complete package of the Project Open Sky B737-700 BBJ in KAL livery. Korean Airlines operates one Boeing Business Jet, registration HL8222, c/n 37660/2997. Comes with the default B738 VC and operating manual. Repaint by Paul Craig.

Installation:

  • Unzip downloaded files to a temporary folder.
  • Copy & paste the "Project Opensky B737-700 BBJ" into your FSX Airplanes folder located by default as below:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\SimObjects\Airplanes
  • Copy the contents of the "Effects" folder into your FSX effects folder located by default below:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Effects

Adding new texture folders:

When adding new texture folders, place a copy of the texture.cfg file (Found in the texture.VC folder) into the new texture folder, if you don't, the VC will not work with the new textures.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D aircraft

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Copy aircraft files into SimObjects

    Place the aircraft folder inside FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\. The folder must contain an aircraft.cfg file. Effects go into FSX\Effects\; gauges go into FSX\Gauges\.

  3. Verify in FSX

    Launch FSX, go to Free Flight → Select Aircraft and find your new aircraft under its manufacturer.

  4. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
