FSX Philippine Airlines Boeing 777-300ER

Philippine Airlines’ first Boeing 777-300ER arrives in Flight Simulator X with an updated SkySpirit2012 model and corrected textures for clean, accurate livery display. Expect dynamic wing flex, animated control surfaces, suspension and bogies, opening doors, thrust reversers, night lighting, and realistic ground-handling features such as gear steering and spoiler logic.

The SkySpirit2012 Boeing 777-300ER model painted in the Philippine Airlines livery, of the first 777 delivered to them. This file includes textures that were missing in the previous Project Open Sky release and textures that will now display properly. This file contains no VC but is instead updated to the new SkySpirit2012 model. The model in this file is also intended for FSX. By Ryan Gabuyo.

Installation:

  • Unzip the file to the 'FS Root\SimObjects\Airplane' directory.
  • Move the files contained with 777-effects to 'FS Root\Effects'.
  • Move the alternate Aircraft.cfg, Panel & Sounds folders in the included '\FSX' folder into the main aircraft folder overwriting the originals.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D aircraft

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Copy aircraft files into SimObjects

    Place the aircraft folder inside FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\. The folder must contain an aircraft.cfg file. Effects go into FSX\Effects\; gauges go into FSX\Gauges\.

  3. Verify in FSX

    Launch FSX, go to Free Flight → Select Aircraft and find your new aircraft under its manufacturer.

  4. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
