This complimentary AeroLogic paint set brings the Boeing 777-FNT cargo variant to life, specifically tailored for the payware PMDG 777 series. Created by Corina Meyer, these textures accurately depict registration D-AALH. AeroLogic, formed through a partnership between DHL Express and Lufthansa Cargo, operates intercontinental freight routes that leverage the extended range and payload capacity of the 777-F. This package requires ownership of the PMDG 777 product, which is available separately. It functions seamlessly with Microsoft Flight Simulator X or Prepar3D and enhances realistic cargo handling experiences.

Fuselage Aesthetics and Authentic Touches

AeroLogic’s real-world livery emphasizes a clean, modern visual style that aligns with its global cargo operations. This repaint replicates those details on the 777-FNT, highlighting the extended wingspan, streamlined fuselage contours, and careful placement of airline-specific markings. Reflections, rivet lines, and dynamic shading have been integrated into the texture mapping, offering flight sim enthusiasts an immersive cargo airline environment.

Installation Steps for the PMDG Livery Manager

Below are the fundamental procedures for setting up this repaint using the PMDG Operations Center. Be sure to extract the appropriate files and follow these steps methodically:

  1. Locate and unzip the downloaded archive to reveal the .ptp file.
  2. Open the PMDG Operations Center and navigate to the Livery Manager interface specifically for PMDG’s 777.
  3. Select “Livery Manager” and click on “Click to Add” or an equivalent button to choose the .ptp file.
  4. Allow the software to incorporate the repaint into the simulator’s fleet automatically.
  5. Once complete, confirm that the AeroLogic livery is accessible within your simulator’s aircraft library.

Key Boeing 777-F Cargo Capabilities

The 777-F design includes a reinforced fuselage structure for significant payload capacity. AeroLogic’s strategic routes capitalize on the extended range, enabling efficient transcontinental shipping schedules. By replicating these features in the simulator, virtual pilots can practice long-haul procedures, refine ETOPS (Extended-range Twin-engine Operational Performance Standards) planning, and explore realistic RNP (Required Navigation Performance) approaches.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D aircraft
  1. Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
  2. Copy aircraft files into SimObjects

Place the aircraft folder inside FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\. The folder must contain an aircraft.cfg file. Effects go into FSX\Effects\; gauges go into FSX\Gauges\.
  3. Verify in FSX

Launch FSX, go to Free Flight → Select Aircraft and find your new aircraft under its manufacturer.
  4. Always read the included readme

Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
