Air India’s VT-IWB colors come to life on the Project Open Sky Airbus A330-200 PW with a semi-photoreal livery that looks sharp in exterior views and the virtual cockpit. Two model variants are supported, with or without the satcom hump, for flexible fleet matching in FSX; requires the Project Open Sky A330-200 base model.

Flight Simulator X Prepar3D

A semi-photoreal repaint for the Project Open Sky Airbus A330-200 in Air India livery. This the repaint of a real aircraft VT-IWB. Models included are 'Satcom' and No Satcom' models. Not tested under DX10 and FS2004. Repaint done by Varun Solanki.

Installation:

Just copy the file "Posky Air India A330-200PW" and paste it into your FSX/SimObjects/Airplanes folder. Obviously, you would have already copied the effects files and pasted it in the effects folder in at some point, but if you are still confused then copy the files supplied in the effects folder and paste them into the FSX/Effects folder.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D aircraft

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Copy aircraft files into SimObjects

    Place the aircraft folder inside FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\. The folder must contain an aircraft.cfg file. Effects go into FSX\Effects\; gauges go into FSX\Gauges\.

  3. Verify in FSX

    Launch FSX, go to Free Flight → Select Aircraft and find your new aircraft under its manufacturer.

  4. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
