FSX Royal Navy Boeing T-45C Goshawk

Royal Navy “what-if” livery for the Boeing T-45C Goshawk adds convincing roundels and a fictional evaluation serial, giving the carrier-capable trainer a fresh Fleet Air Arm identity while preserving the aircraft’s real-world character and detail. Designed for FSX and requires Dino Cattaneo’s Boeing T-45C base model.

description="The T-45 Goshawk is a highly modified version of the BAe Hawk land-based training jet aircraft. The T-45 is used by the United States Navy as an aircraft carrier capable trainer. As the Hawk had not been designed for carrier operations, numerous modifications were required for Navy carrier use, including improvements to the low-speed handling characteristics and a reduction in the approach speed.Other changes were strengthened airframe, more robust and wider landing gear with catapult attachment and an arresting hook."

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D aircraft
  1. Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
  2. Copy aircraft files into SimObjects

Place the aircraft folder inside FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\. The folder must contain an aircraft.cfg file. Effects go into FSX\Effects\; gauges go into FSX\Gauges\.
  3. Verify in FSX

Launch FSX, go to Free Flight → Select Aircraft and find your new aircraft under its manufacturer.
  4. Always read the included readme

Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
