This package features a fully FSX compatible English Electric / BAC Lightning along with 31 additional repaints compatible with the base model. The original model was created for FS2004 but has been updated by Michael Pook to be fully FSX compatible.

It's a great model with a basic virtual cockpit, highly detailed textures, and animations. The 2D panel is fully functional and the gauges have been upgraded to FSX format. Smoke effects have also been added.

The English Electic Lightning is a fighter jet developed by English Electic and then followed on by BAC. It served as a fighter in the forces from the '60s into the late '80s. It was the only UK built fighter jet able to reach the speeds of MACH 2.

The Lightning was the mainstay of the UK's air defense role throughout the 1960s and '70s

This package brings the jet to life in FSX and it's a blast to fly.
