FSX VNAF Douglas C-47 Skytrain Transport

VNAF Douglas C-47 Skytrain Transport livery recreates the 415th Transport Squadron VIP aircraft from South Vietnam circa 1970, with period markings that suit classic military and utility routes. Designed for FSX, it requires Manfred Jahn’s C-47/DC-3 model and complements cockpit and checklist entries for immersive vintage operations.

Douglas C-47 Skytrain 415th Transport Squadron VNAF South Viet Nam Air Force 1970. C-47 eW was first used as transportation for VIPs which served President Ngo Dinh Diem in many official trips within the Republic of South Vietnam. On the her final mission of transporting the ally VIPs to Vung Tau city, due to windshear, the C-47 eW crashed when she was about to land on the Vung Tau airstrip. Luckily there were no fatal casualties. VNAF began with a few hand-picked men chosen to fly alongside French pilots during the State of Vietnam era. It eventually grew into the world's sixth largest air force at the height of its power, in 1974. It was dissolved in 1975 after the Fall of Saigon. This repaint represents her.
