FSX Douglas C-47 Camel Caravan To Berlin

Douglas C-47 “Camel Caravan To Berlin” recreates a Berlin Airlift workhorse with historically inspired markings and a thoughtfully detailed look for supply runs into postwar West Berlin in FSX. The repaint uses Manfred Jahn’s C-47 model and requires a compatible DC-3 sound set, while aiming to capture the era’s tribute and atmosphere.

The Berlin blockade 24 June 1948 to 12 May 1949. This aircraft flew much needed supplies to West Berliners every 2 hours for 11 months. 31 Americans lost their lives during the Berlin Airlift, paying the ultimate price for the freedom of others. Let that not be forgotten. By Ralph Lichtenberger.
