How to install this mod

FSX / P3D aircraft

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Copy aircraft files into SimObjects

    Place the aircraft folder inside FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\. The folder must contain an aircraft.cfg file. Effects go into FSX\Effects\; gauges go into FSX\Gauges\.

  3. Verify in FSX

    Launch FSX, go to Free Flight → Select Aircraft and find your new aircraft under its manufacturer.

  4. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.

    1. Go to the settings.
    2. Find an option that says "System stress" or "System detect damages".

    This should fix the issue.

    @Phillip, it isn't with the aircraft, it is a thing with FSX. It always happens to me with the default 737-800.

    Echo Phillip's issue; downloaded last night, wondered if it was a case of me selecting an airport and some glitch, but no - each and every time I try to start a mission it takes 3/4 seconds for the simulation to crash 'due to stress'.

    Was there ever an answer to this?

    Crash detected on when loading aircraft due to stress. Configuration in file is wrong.
