This distinctive model retains detailed maintenance panels: by pressing Shift + E, you can watch the engine cowlings open, revealing an interactive interior view of the powerplant.

Conversion and Enhancements by David Grindele

David Grindele has carefully updated flight dynamics and configuration files, ensuring smooth handling on modern simulators. He has also integrated A2A 3D Lights and Redux compatibility, which requires the separate A2A program to enable functional 3D lighting. The resulting setup offers realistic illumination for night operations and overall enhanced external modeling, all without compromising the airframe’s core authenticity.

This package showcases the Air China color scheme, fitting for a long-distance airliner connecting major global cities. The chosen registration, B-2066, replicates a real-world appearance of the airline’s Boeing 777-200 fleet. The jetway feature has been calibrated to work correctly with the aircraft model: use Ctrl + J to dock and undock while stationed at the gate. Installation Steps

1. Extract the zip file contents, then move or copy the included Aircraft folder to your “SimObjects/Airplanes” directory within FSX.
2. Open Microsoft Flight Simulator X and select “MELJET” from the manufacturer menu. Choose the Air China Boeing 777-200 variant you wish to fly.
3. No additional downloads are necessary for core functionality. However, to activate the A2A 3D Lights & Redux, install the appropriate A2A software.
