Jon Murchison, which you must have previously

CREDITS:
1.) Jon Murchison, for his wonderful BAe 146.
2.) The original authors of the "fx_smoke_f6"
file and the "fx_enginesmoke" file, whoever
you are.

I take no credit. All I did was a bit of math. Enjoy!
Tom Tiedman

INSTALLATION:

1.) Copy and paste the enclosed "fx_smoke_f6"
file and the enclosed "fx_enginesmoke" file into
your FSX "Effects" folder. (They are both probably
there already).

2.) Pick the type of smoke you want for your 146-200
and/or 146-300 from the 2 choices listed below. Then copy
and paste that entire [SMOKESYSTEM] into the
corresponding aircraft's "aircraft.cfg" file. Then click
'file', then click 'save', of course. (I pasted mine at
the bottom of the file with good results).

3.) Press your "I" key while flying your 146-200 or your
146-300 in FSX and enjoy your new thick (or thin) smoke!

How to install this mod

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
  2. Place files per the readme

Most FSX add-ons go into one of: SimObjects\Airplanes\, Addon Scenery\, Effects\, or Gauges\.
  3. Always read the included readme

Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
