FSX USCG Lockheed AC-130

USCG Lockheed AC-130 brings a fictional United States Coast Guard gunship livery to FSX, transforming the C-130 into an armed variant for dramatic patrol and support flights. It updates textures and configuration for an authentic look in the virtual cockpit and exterior, and requires the Just Flight/Captain Sim C-130 base package.

Copy files to the FSX folder, in the folder "Microsoft Flight Simulator X\SimObjects\Airplanes\CS_EX2_AC130".

Replace aircraft.cfg, automatically comes with Config.

I know the spoilers/air brake is grey (towards front) and the backs of the engines are black.
This is a texture thing. Feel free to edit. (I personally cover it with the air covers that fit onto the back of the engines)

FSX / P3D add-on

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place files per the readme

    Most FSX add-ons go into one of: SimObjects\Airplanes\, Addon Scenery\, Effects\, or Gauges\.
