FSX North American Aviation F-100D Super Sabre Trio

North American Aviation F-100D Super Sabre Trio. Here are three textures for the SOH Donationware F-100D Super Sabre with natural metal finishes: 20th TFW, RAF Lakenheath 1963, 306th TFS Incirlik 1964 and 458th FDS Tinker AFB 1958. They are 2048 x 2048 files for FSX only. Many thanks to Ed Wells for the use of his paint kit and Jason Sparkes of UKMIL for the use of of his repaint as the basis of these sets. By Dave Quincey.

These three 2048 x 2048 .dds texture sets are for the SOH Donationware F-100D and are made from a combination of Ed wells' (Falcon409) excellent paint kit and parts of Jason Sparkes of UKMIL's superb freeware texture set, and some new rivets, lines and stencils. I've reduced the alpha channels except for the titanium afterburner cans and tried to stick as closely as possible to original photgraphs. For instance, the 306th bird appears to be finished in standard ADC grey so that's what I've done. Anyway, hope you enjoy them.

Copy the three texture folders to your Simobjects/Airplanes directory. Paste the following into the aircraft.cfg file after the last [fltsim.xx] entry and save.

These repaints are based on the paint kit by Ed Wells, some parts of Jason Sparkes' repaint of 56-3206, with addtional work by myself.

This repaint is freeware; it can be used and modified as you wish for your own use. It must not be used or sold for commercial gain.
