White Castle Run. This mission is loosely based on an actual event which took place a few years ago here in the Quad City area of Iowa and Illinois. A couple of local disc jockeys, who originally hailed from the Chicago area, devised a plan to have a bunch of White Castle burgers flown in from Aurora IL. There are no White Castle restaurants in the Quad City area, and the Chicago area offers the closest location. It's about a 2 1/2 to 3 hour drive from the Quad Cities to Chicago, and obviously it takes a lot less time to fly between the two locations. So that's how the White Castle burgers were delivered here. By Patrick Finch.
WHITE CASTLE RUN MISSION FOR FSX FIXED
I apologize for the problems with my original upload. The problems have been fixed and I have had the edited mission tested by an independent source, who ways it works fine now. Thanks, Heimi!
It should take about 1 hr. 30 min. to 1 hr. 45 min. to complete. I think you will find it entertaining as well as informative.

I have included the flight plan from Davenport to Aurora, but you won't need it. It's just included to get rid of the nagging message about a mission having no flight plan when it's loading up.
When you land at both airports, try to land just beyond the numbers. If you land short there are messages that will not trigger.
Don't forget to check out some of the scenery in the Quad City area, especially when headed towards the first waypoint. The river views especially are renedered quite nicely.
1.)Extract the wcrun.zip file to your FSX\Missions folder, making sure the "Use Folder Names" box is checked in WinZip. The mission is in the Just For Fun category and is at the Intermediate skill level.
2.)After extracting, move the White Castle Run.RWD file to you FSX\Rewards folder.
As this is my first mission, it may be a little rough around the edges, but I hope you find it entertaining. I welcome all positive feedback and constructive criticism. I'll most definitely continue designing another mission, but right now I need to finish a scenery design project for FSX that's way overdue. Until next time, have fun with this mission!!!!
