Groton–New London Airport (KGON) for FSX refreshes the stock Connecticut field with expanded GA parking, two fuel trucks, and a detailed R.I. National Guard ramp featuring static aircraft. Reworked taxiways and signage, new hangars, a fire station, correctly placed helicopter landing marker, and extra airside clutter improve realism.

Groton New London Airport (KGON), Connecticut (CT). Updates the default airprt with added GA parking, fuel trucks, R.I. National Guard area, static vehicles, corrected taxiways, added hangars and more. By Kyle Cormier.

Groton New London Airport Scenery.

Changes to the stock FSX airport include adding GA parking, adding two fuel trucks, adding the R.I. NAtional Guard area along with static aircraft, reconfigured taxiways and signage, added hangers, a fire station, a helicopter landing marker in the proper location, and a lot of background elements.

To use, just install the 2 BGL files in to your FSX/addon scenery/scenery file and enjoy.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Place scenery in Addon Scenery

Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.
Activate in Scenery Library

In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.
