FSX KNYG Quantico MCAF Scenery

KNYG Quantico Marine Corps Air Facility scenery refreshes the Virginia base known for the Presidential helicopter fleet, extending the apron south and adding a newly built ramp and large hangar area using default structures. Designed for Microsoft Flight Simulator X, it also includes small field tweaks that better match the current layout.

KNYG Quantico MCAF update. This is Quantico MCAF located in Virginia (VA) and home to the Presidential helicopter fleet. This is an update to the original release with the newly built ramp and hangar facitility. Default buildings were used. By Ryan Cobb.

The Quantico MCAF has been updated by the The Marines to expand the apron all the way south and added a huge hangar facility as well. I just used a default building as the new hanger and updated a couple other things as well..

Installation:

Overwrite my existing KNYG bgl's with these bgl's in you FSX/Addon Scenery/Scenery folder.

Thats it.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place scenery in Addon Scenery

    Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.

  3. Activate in Scenery Library

    In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.

  4. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
