FSX RCAF North American T-6

RCAF Harvard Mk IV markings bring North American T-6 N47217 to life with crisp exterior textures inspired by the 1951 Canadian Car and Foundry airframe often seen at Oshkosh. Designed for FSX, the repaint highlights authentic period details and a clean, readable finish, and requires the Wozza T-6 base aircraft.

Textures for the T6 by Warwick Carter. N47217 was built in 1951 at the Canadian Car and Foundry factory, as a Harvard Mk IV, serial number CCF4-8. N47217 is based in Wisconsin, and although somewhat modified since its RCAF days, has appeared at Oshkosh in RCAF markings, and is a very popular aircraft. By Michael Flahault.

Installation:

1. Drop the file "texture.RCAF" into your C:Program FilesMicrosoft GamesMicrosoft Flight Simulator XSimObjectsAirplanesWozza T-6 folder.

2. Update the aircraft.cfg with the following:

Change XX to appropriate number.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D add-on

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place files per the readme

    Most FSX add-ons go into one of: SimObjects\Airplanes\, Addon Scenery\, Effects\, or Gauges\.

    Erik this is only a texture, if you do not have the actual aircraft it will not work. the .cfg file is in the aircraft file for this texan: https://flyawaysimulation.com/downloads/files/9623/fsx-t-6g-texan-civilian-restoration/

    Have downloaded the T-6 ,but i can't find the "aircraft.cfg" so it isn't possible to update it . Where can I find this doc.
