Which Boeing 767 products will I find?
Two complete aircraft commonly encountered in Microsoft Flight Simulator searches are the Captain Sim 767-400ER and the RHDSimulations 767-300ER. We classify both as MSFS 2020-origin products rather than aircraft developed specifically for MSFS 2024.

Do not assume that either MSFS 2020-era product models every Boeing 767 system. Before buying, inspect the stated support for the FMC, autopilot, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and engine-start systems. A detailed exterior model is not evidence of a detailed flight deck.
Is there a study-level Boeing 767 for MSFS 2024?
No native study-level Boeing 767 is available for MSFS 2024 at the Sim Update 5 stage. Simmers wanting accurate 767 procedures, failures and aircraft-specific system logic should not treat a visually complete 767 package as an equivalent substitute.

Why will an older FSX Boeing 767 not work?

For example, this downloadable legacy US Airways 767 is an FSX aircraft, not an MSFS 2024 add-on. Its presence in a downloads library does not mean that it has been converted for the newer simulator.
- The aircraft does not appear: the package may be for FSX, installed at the wrong folder level or missing its required base aircraft.
- The aircraft has pink or blank textures: a livery dependency is missing, or the textures are incompatible with the selected model.
- The cockpit screens or controls fail: the aircraft's systems code may not have been updated for MSFS 2024.
- Only a paint scheme was downloaded: the file is a livery and requires the separately named 767 product.
How do I check a 767 add-on before installing it?
- Confirm that it is a complete aircraft. Listings containing “livery”, “repaint” or “textures” normally require another product.
- Look for explicit MSFS 2024 support. “Microsoft Flight Simulator” or “MSFS 2020” alone is not a reliable compatibility statement.
- Check the platform. PC packages installed outside the in-simulator Marketplace cannot be installed on Xbox Series X|S or PlayStation 5. Console availability must be confirmed on that console.
- Read the dependency details. Some variants and liveries require a particular base aircraft rather than working as standalone packages.
- Match the systems depth to your expectations. Look for specific descriptions of custom avionics and aircraft systems, not broad claims such as “realistic”.
What should I fly instead of a 767 in MSFS 2024?
