Download H145 liveries for MSFS 2020 and 2024, verify HPG compatibility, install them on PC and fix repaints that do not appear.
You can download freeware H145 liveries for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024 from our MSFS mods library. Search for H145, then verify that each repaint names your exact Hype Performance Group aircraft package, variant and simulator version. The livery does not include the helicopter, and manual ZIP installation is for PC only.
Where can I download the right H145 repaint?
Search using the aircraft designation H145, followed by an operator, registration or service name if you want a particular scheme. Read the file description and requirements before downloading; a visually similar repaint may target a different helicopter package.
A mistake we see constantly is matching only the aircraft name. An H145 repaint is not interchangeable with an H135 repaint, and a livery made for one developer’s model will not automatically fit another. Check these details:
- Required aircraft: the repaint should name the Hype Performance Group H145 and any required expansion or model variant.
- Simulator: look for explicit MSFS 2020, MSFS 2024 or dual-version support.
- Variant: emergency-service, utility and other configurations may use different model or texture references.
- Download contents: confirm that it is an installable livery package rather than a paint kit or source texture set.
If you do not yet have the helicopter, our summary of available H145 aircraft packages and add-on dependencies explains what must be installed before a repaint can appear.
Will MSFS 2020 H145 liveries work in MSFS 2024?
Some MSFS 2020 H145 liveries work in MSFS 2024, but compatibility is not automatic. The repaint must still reference an aircraft package and variant recognised by the installed H145 version.
| Download description | MSFS 2020 | MSFS 2024 |
|---|---|---|
| MSFS 2020 only | Use when the H145 requirement matches | Treat as unconfirmed unless compatibility is stated |
| MSFS 2020 and 2024 | Suitable if the required package matches | Preferred choice for MSFS 2024 |
| MSFS 2024 only | Do not assume backward compatibility | Use when the required package matches |
MSFS 2024 can load many legacy Community packages, but an aircraft update may change internal package, variant or texture references. This can leave the texture files intact while preventing the livery from appearing. See our MSFS 2020-to-2024 livery compatibility checks before using a 2020-only repaint.
How do I install an H145 livery on PC?
Extract the downloaded package and place its actual package folder in the simulator’s Community folder. The correct Community-folder location depends on the simulator, store installation and any custom packages path, so use our complete MSFS livery installation instructions if you are unsure.
- Check the dependency. Confirm that the required H145 and model variant already load correctly in the simulator.
- Extract the archive. Do not place the unopened ZIP file in the Community folder.
- Find the package root. The installable folder normally contains files such as
manifest.jsonandlayout.json; remove any unnecessary outer download folder. - Copy and restart. Move the package folder into
Community, then restart Microsoft Flight Simulator. - Select the matching H145. Open the aircraft-selection screen, choose the required H145 variant and use its livery or appearance control.
Why is my downloaded H145 livery not showing?
A missing H145 livery is usually caused by an absent dependency, extra folder nesting or a variant mismatch rather than a damaged texture.
- The base aircraft is missing: a freeware repaint supplies paint and configuration files, not the H145 itself.
- The package is still zipped: Microsoft Flight Simulator cannot use an unopened download archive as a Community package.
- The folder is nested too deeply: place the folder containing the package files directly inside
Community. - The wrong variant is selected: the repaint may be assigned only to one H145 configuration.
- The repaint targets another package version: its internal aircraft reference may no longer match your installed H145.
- Two copies are installed: remove the older package before adding an updated version to avoid duplicate names and conflicting files.
- The simulator was running during installation: close and restart it so the package is indexed again.
Xbox and PlayStation: manually downloaded ZIP packages cannot be installed into a Community folder on consoles. MSFS 2020 is available on Xbox but was never released for PlayStation; MSFS 2024 is available on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. Console users can use only H145 aircraft and liveries distributed inside the simulator for their platform.
If the base H145 does not appear either, fix the aircraft installation first. If the helicopter loads but one repaint is absent, check the package level, selected variant and 2020/2024 compatibility in that order.
