How do I install the Aerosoft ToLiss A340-600 correctly?
Use the delivery method provided with your Aerosoft order: either let Aerosoft One install the aircraft into the correct X-Plane copy, or extract the downloaded archive manually.
- Download the aircraft and locate its serial. Keep the product serial supplied with the purchase available, but do not post it publicly. An Aerosoft order or invoice number is not the aircraft activation key.
- Choose the correct X-Plane build. If the download separates X-Plane 11 and X-Plane 12 files, install the version matching your simulator. Do not copy an older X-Plane 11 installation into X-Plane 12 when an updated package is supplied.
- Find the active X-Plane folder. It is the directory containing
Aircraft,ResourcesandLog.txt. When replacing an older A340-600 release, move the old folder outside Aircraft and install the new package cleanly. Merging new files over an old copy can leave obsolete plugins behind. Back up custom liveries or configuration files you recognise before removing the previous installation.
How do I activate the ToLiss A340-600?
The A340-600 is activated from its first-run activation dialogue using the ToLiss product serial supplied through the Aerosoft purchase.
- Connect the computer to the internet. The initial serial validation needs network access.
- Start X-Plane and load the A340-600. Allow extra time on the first load while its aircraft-specific plugins initialise.
- Enter the product serial. Copy and paste the code labelled as the aircraft serial or product key. Remove accidental spaces before or after it, and do not substitute the Aerosoft order number.
- Submit the activation. Wait for the success confirmation rather than closing the dialogue immediately.
- Quit X-Plane completely. Restart the simulator from the desktop and load the A340-600 again. A full restart is more reliable than merely switching aircraft because every ToLiss plugin is then initialised from a clean state.
Aerosoft One reporting that the files are installed does not replace the aircraft’s own first-run serial activation. After a successful restart, the activation request should be gone and the aircraft systems should load normally. A cold-and-dark flight deck by itself is not an activation fault; check the selected starting state before assuming the installation failed.
Why is ToLiss A340-600 activation failing or repeating?
Most activation faults come from the wrong code, a plugin that failed to load, blocked network access or an X-Plane folder that is not writable.
