How do I install and activate the ToLiss A340-600 in X-Plane?

Download the legitimate ToLiss A340-600 for X-Plane from the account or delivery app of the retailer that sold it; Aerosoft customers should use the download method shown in their Aerosoft order. No crack is needed or supported. Unofficial packages may contain malware, be outdated, fail activation and lose access to updates.

Where can I get the legitimate ToLiss A340 download?

For an Aerosoft purchase, the supported delivery and installer is Aerosoft One: sign in with the Aerosoft account used for the order, locate the A340-600 in the library and install it into the correct X-Plane copy. If an older order provides a direct archive instead, use the package attached to that order.

A purchase made through another authorised retailer remains in that retailer’s account. It will not necessarily appear in Aerosoft One. Always return to the original retailer for the download, serial recovery and activation support.

Do I need a ToLiss A340 crack?

No. A legitimate copy uses the supplied ToLiss product serial, while Aerosoft One handles delivery and installation for Aerosoft-managed orders. A crack alters or bypasses the aircraft’s licensing components and may also break its plug-ins, prevent updates or introduce unsafe files. We cannot help bypass the licence or repair a cracked package; replace it with a clean download from the purchasing account.

How do I install the ToLiss A340-600 correctly?

The A340-600 supports X-Plane 11 and X-Plane 12, but it must be installed into the active simulator root and with the files intended for that X-Plane generation.

1. Close X-Plane. Do not install or replace aircraft files while the simulator is running.
2. Retrieve the licensed package. For a new Aerosoft delivery, install through Aerosoft One using the account that owns the order. Use a direct archive only when the order itself supplies one.
3. Select the correct simulator. If the delivery process offers separate X-Plane 11 and X-Plane 12 choices, select the one you actually run. Do not overwrite an X-Plane 12 package with files retained from an old X-Plane 11 installation.

5. Remove the previous release before a major update. Move the old A340 folder completely outside the X-Plane directory. Back up liveries and recognised personal configuration files first, but do not merge two aircraft releases.
6. Install the complete aircraft folder. Let Aerosoft One finish placing the managed package. For a direct archive supplied with an older order, extract it first and copy the resulting aircraft folder under X-Plane/Aircraft; never run the aircraft from inside a compressed file. 7. Check the folder depth. The installed A340 folder should contain its .acf file and aircraft folders such as plugins and objects. A structure resembling Aircraft/A340/A340/[aircraft].acf has an extra wrapper folder and may stop X-Plane finding the aircraft correctly.
8. Leave aircraft plug-ins inside the package. Do not move ToLiss-supplied plug-ins into Resources/plugins. They are aircraft-specific and must remain in the locations created by the installer or archive.

Aerosoft One confirming that installation has finished does not activate the ToLiss licence. That happens inside X-Plane when the aircraft’s plug-in starts for the first time.

How do I activate the ToLiss A340-600?

Load the installed aircraft, enter its own ToLiss product serial in the first-run activation dialogue, then restart X-Plane after activation succeeds.

1. Connect to the internet. Initial serial validation requires network access.
2. Start the correct X-Plane installation. Make sure it is the same copy selected during installation.
3. Load the A340-600. Allow the first load to finish while the aircraft-specific plug-ins initialise. The ToLiss activation dialogue should appear when those plug-ins have loaded successfully.
4. Paste the A340-600 serial. Use the product key supplied for this aircraft, without leading or trailing spaces. An Aerosoft order number, account password or serial belonging to another ToLiss aircraft will not work.
5. Submit the activation. Wait for the success message rather than closing the dialogue as soon as the key is entered.
6. Quit X-Plane completely. Start it again from the desktop and reload the A340-600. A full restart satisfies the required aircraft reload and ensures every ToLiss plug-in starts in its activated state.

If no activation window appears and the cockpit is unresponsive, do not assume the serial is at fault. The aircraft plug-in may have failed before it could display the dialogue.

What if I don’t have the key?

Recover the serial from the original purchasing account or ask the original retailer to recover it privately; a crack, order number or unrelated ToLiss key cannot replace the A340-600 serial.

1. Check the Aerosoft account. Open the A340-600 product or order details under the same account used for purchase and look for the serial or product-key information attached to it.
2. Search the order email. Check the purchase confirmation and delivery messages, including archived mail and the spam folder. The email may contain either the serial itself or instructions for retrieving it from the account.
3. Contact the original retailer privately. Provide the account email, order number and proof of purchase through its private support channel. Ask for serial recovery if the key is missing, or an activation reset if a legitimate key has reached its activation allowance.

Do not post the serial, invoice or full order details in a public forum. The order number identifies the transaction but does not activate the aircraft. A key for another ToLiss model is licensed for that model only and will also be rejected.

Why is activation failing or repeating?

The wording of the error determines whether the problem is the serial, network validation, missing aircraft files or an installation that cannot save activation data.

A cold-and-dark cockpit alone is not proof of an activation problem. If the ToLiss interface and systems respond normally, check the aircraft’s selected starting state before reinstalling it.

How do I fix “this message”, “these files” or “Was ist hier los?”

A paraphrased or unfamiliar message is not enough to identify the failing component; preserve its exact wording, source window and associated log entries before changing the installation.

Was ist hier los? means “What is going on here?”, but it does not identify a particular ToLiss fault by itself. Likewise, an installer referring only to “these files” is unusable evidence unless the file list, destination and preceding action are also recorded.

1. Reproduce the fault once. Record the action immediately before it appeared, such as installing, loading the aircraft, entering the serial or restarting X-Plane.
2. Capture the complete message. Take a screenshot that includes the window title, every line of text, buttons and any displayed file paths. Also copy the wording exactly, preserving punctuation and capitalisation.
3. Save the relevant log. After reproducing an in-simulator fault, quit X-Plane and copy Log.txt from the simulator root before launching X-Plane again; the next session rewrites it. Preserve the complete file and note lines mentioning ToLiss, plug-in loading, missing files, validation or errors.
4. Identify which application produced it. An Aerosoft One installer message, an operating-system security alert and a ToLiss activation dialogue require different fixes. The window title and application log usually establish the source.
5. Check file integrity without guessing. Confirm that the .acf, plugins and objects content exists inside the aircraft folder. Review quarantine history for files removed at installation or first load. Do not replace an unknown missing file with one found on the web.
6. Classify the error by its wording. “Invalid serial” or equivalent points to the key; “not found”, “could not load” or a quarantine notice points to files; “connection”, “timeout”, “server” or “SSL” points to network validation. A repeating activation after a reported success points more often to permissions or unsaved data.
7. Send useful support evidence. Provide the exact A340 package version if shown, X-Plane 11 or 12 and its build, operating system, installation path, screenshot, saved Log.txt, installer log if available and quarantine notice. Send proof of purchase and the order number privately, and disclose the serial only through the retailer’s secure support channel if specifically requested.

Can I update or reinstall without losing activation?

A normal supported update may retain activation, but a new computer, major hardware change or clean operating-system installation can require the serial again and may consume another activation.

• Keep the product serial and proof of purchase in private storage.
• Update through Aerosoft One when the Aerosoft order is managed there; otherwise use the delivery method supplied by the original retailer.
• For a major release, install into a clean aircraft folder instead of merging new files over an older copy.
• Keep only one working A340-600 installation under each X-Plane Aircraft directory. Duplicate folders make it easy to load the obsolete copy.
