Cook Airfield has a narrowly focused procedure set: one RNAV (GPS) approach, accompanied by minima material, with no alternative approach type or published airport diagram. Runway 17/35 provides more than twice the length of the 1,600 ft turf runway; any aircraft requiring more than that distance has only the 3,471 ft asphalt runway within the listed configuration.
Nearby procedure coverage varies sharply. McConnell AFB has by far the broadest chart set, while Cessna Aircraft Field’s single chart is thinner than Cook’s coverage. Augusta Municipal and Beech Factory each occupy the middle ground, with Colonel James Jabara carrying somewhat more. The Kansas City and Wichita sectional charts add broader VFR context absent from Cook’s lone instrument procedure.
