Approach coverage

Cut Bank’s two intersecting runways are served at all four ends, so the procedure set does not confine instrument arrivals to one alignment or direction. Four RNAV (GPS) approaches form the main coverage, while the VOR procedure provides a non-GPS alternative. With five approaches covering four ends, at least one end has more than one published procedure. Both runways are 5,300 ft long, meaning a change of alignment offers no longer runway option.

Chart context

The nearby procedure sets are all thinner. Shelby has the broadest coverage of the three, but only half as many charts as Cut Bank; Conrad and Choteau each have fewer again. The Great Falls Sectional adds the wider visual-navigation context absent from the terminal procedures. No airport diagram is published in this cycle.
