Procedure coverage

Choteau’s compact instrument set consists of two RNAV (GPS) approaches serving two runway ends. This gives instrument coverage in two directions, but no other approach type is published and there is no airport diagram. The 5,000 ft runway provides 1,301 ft more length than the second alignment, making the difference between the two runways operationally significant.

Nearby chart sets

Conrad has the same number of published charts, while Shelby’s coverage is only slightly broader. Cut Bank has twice as many, and Great Falls has by far the broadest nearby procedure set; Lincoln’s is thinner than Choteau’s. The Great Falls Sectional adds wider visual-chart context beyond the airport’s limited terminal procedures.
