Approach coverage across both runways

Joplin Regional’s procedure set serves all four ends of its two runway alignments, so no runway end is left without a published approach. RNAV (GPS) procedures provide the broadest coverage, while ILS and localiser procedures add ground-based options. The two runways differ in length by only one foot, making the available distance effectively consistent between alignments.

Coverage beyond Joplin

Atkinson Municipal has the broadest nearby chart set, although its six published charts remain fewer than Joplin’s ten. Neosho Hugh Robinson, Lamar Municipal and Monett Regional each have four, while Miami Regional has three, giving those fields notably thinner procedure coverage. The Kansas City Sectional adds wider-area visual context beyond the airport-specific instrument charts.
