Orange County has an instrument procedure serving each of its four runway ends. The five approach plates combine RNAV (GPS) coverage with ILS and localiser options, so the set is not concentrated on a single alignment. Runway 04/22 provides 1,342 ft more length than 08/26; this makes the longer alignment relevant to aircraft requiring more runway, while the second runway preserves a separate approach alignment with tighter length constraints.
Nearby procedure coverage varies sharply. New York Stewart International and Hudson Valley Regional have broader chart sets than Orange County, while Randall, Wurtsboro/Sullivan County and Joseph Y Resnick have only two or three published charts each. The New York Sectional adds the wider VFR context around Montgomery that the airport diagram and terminal procedures do not provide.
