Presque Isle’s five approach plates serve three of its four runway ends, leaving one end without a published instrument approach. The mix includes ILS and localiser coverage alongside three RNAV (GPS) procedures and a VOR option, providing both satellite-based and ground-based procedure types. No airport diagram is published.
The two runway alignments are both substantial in length: even the shorter measures 6,000 ft, so the field does not rely solely on the 7,441 ft runway for available distance. Houlton’s five-chart set is closest in breadth, while Caribou and Northern Aroostook each have thinner four-chart coverage. The Halifax Sectional adds broader visual-routing and geographical context beyond the terminal procedures.
