Allen AAF has three runways, yet published approaches serve only two of the six ends. The six IAP charts nevertheless cover a varied mix: ILS and localiser procedures alongside RNAV (GPS), VOR and NDB options. This provides several navigation methods for the covered ends, while the other four ends have no published approach this cycle.
Runway 01/19, at 9,000 ft, is more than twice the length of 07/25, with 11/29 between them at 6,115 ft. The three alignments therefore offer markedly different amounts of available runway, despite the concentrated instrument coverage. Anchorage, Dawson and Fairbanks sectionals all cover the airport, adding broader VFR context beyond the terminal procedures.
