Iliamna’s five approaches serve four of its eight runway ends, so instrument coverage is spread across more than one alignment rather than concentrated on a single end. Four procedures use RNAV (GPS), while the remaining option is NDB-based. The two asphalt runways are similar in length at just under or just over 5,000 ft; the two shorter water runways provide separate north–south and east–west alignments for water-capable aircraft.
Nearby procedure coverage is distinctly thinner: Wilder Runway and Igiugig each have four charts, while Nondalton and Kokhanok each have three. The Kodiak and McGrath sectional charts add the broader VFR context absent from the terminal procedure set.
