Middle East AFCAD Pack 2

Middle East AFCAD Pack 2 expands AI parking and refines ground layouts at five default hubs, improving gate availability and smoother taxi behavior at Doha, Dubai, Amman and Aqaba. For Microsoft Flight Simulator X, it adds cargo stands, tweaks service vehicle positions, and introduces extra taxiways plus a new Aqaba apron for more realistic flow.

These files will add additional AI parking to the default FSX airports for Doha, Qatar (OTBD), Dubai, UAE (OMDB), Amman, Jordan (OJAI and OJAM), and Aqaba, Jordan (OJAQ). By Denny Payne.

They are designed to improve AI traffic parking and may not be reflective of real-world parking at a particular airport, due to limitations of the default FSX airports. Mainly I've added cargo parking and adjusted some other elements of the default airports (particularly fuel truck parking) to provide for smoother AI behavior.

I also added taxiways and a new apron to Aqaba using Google Earth as a reference.

Installation:

  1. Simply add the files to your FSX/Addon Scenery/Scenery directory, ensuring that you don't have any duplicate files for the same airports loading in that or any other Addon Scenery directory.

To uninstall, just delete the files.
