Designed for FSX, it enhances VFR touring and regional ops with more accurate runways, placements, and local character.

New and upgraded airports for FSX, created with reference to Google Earth and Australian Air Services website.

To install just drop all .bgl files in your /addon scenery/scenery folder within FSX.

In this pack:

  • YCCY Cloncurry (Outback town NW QLD).
  • YCDR Caloundra (Gateway to the Sunshine Coast).
  • YCEL Capella (Small rural/mining town N of Emerald).
  • YCFN Clifton (Rural town between Toowoomba & Warwick).
  • YCGO Chillagoe (Old mining town W of Mareeba on Atherton Tablelands).
  • YCHT Charters Towers (Rural/mining town W of Townsville).
  • YCMT Clermont (Rural town N of Emerald).
  • YCMW Camooweal (Small community on NT/QLD border W of Mt Isa).
  • YCNY Century Mine (Operated by Zinifex, located in The Gulf Country N QLD).

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place scenery in Addon Scenery

    Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.

  3. Activate in Scenery Library

    In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.

  4. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.

    The runway numbers for 12 and 30 at caloundra are around the wrong way, apart from that great job!
