FSX German Air Force Airbus A340-313X Texture Fix

German Air Force Airbus A340-313X repaint correction for FSX repairs the “texture.LW16+01” folder so the aircraft displays properly in sim, with accurate external markings and consistent surface mapping. Requires the A340-313X German Airforce base package, and replaces the existing texture folder with the fixed version.

Installation:

Unzip The Folder "texture.LW16+01.zip" and copy the "Texture.LW16+01" in your FSX "SimObjects/Airplanes/A340-313X_German_Airforce" folder. Say "yes" to overwrite the exist folder. Sorry for that!

For the complete aircraft's you need file "a340-313x_german_airforce.Zip". You must also change texture-folder.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D aircraft

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Copy aircraft files into SimObjects

    Place the aircraft folder inside FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\. The folder must contain an aircraft.cfg file. Effects go into FSX\Effects\; gauges go into FSX\Gauges\.

  3. Verify in FSX

    Launch FSX, go to Free Flight → Select Aircraft and find your new aircraft under its manufacturer.

  4. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
