German Air Force VIP Airbus A340-313X package for FSX delivers two detailed aircraft in registrations 16+01 Konrad Adenauer and 16+02 Theodor Heuss, complete with virtual cockpit, gauges, effects, and authentic long-haul configuration. It uses the default A321 soundset and reflects the refurbished ex-Lufthansa airframes with a 143-seat government cabin.

Flight Simulator X Prepar3D

This is a complete package for two Airbus A340-313X, Federal Republic of Germany, registration 16+01 (Konrad Adenauer) and 16+02 (Theodor Heuss) of German Airforce. The sound is from the default A321. Airplaine, VC, gauges and effects from Thomas Ruth (TOMA343B.ZIP); this package is included. The Airbus A340 is a four-engine widebody aircraft of the European aircraft manufacturer Airbus. For the long haul the Federal Government of Germany has two aircraft with 143 seats for disposal. Imports from the stock of Lufthansa aircraft were overhauled and given a VIP cabin. By Thomas Salega. (See also TEXTURE_LW16-01.ZIP).

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D aircraft

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Copy aircraft files into SimObjects

    Place the aircraft folder inside FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\. The folder must contain an aircraft.cfg file. Effects go into FSX\Effects\; gauges go into FSX\Gauges\.

  3. Verify in FSX

    Launch FSX, go to Free Flight → Select Aircraft and find your new aircraft under its manufacturer.

  4. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.

    Good Airbus with texture patch. Easy to install. Missing a throttle panel and auto brakes but doesn’t detract from enjoyable flying. Does the developer have an equally good Airbus A350-1000?
