Area Ecuador’s Convair CV-990A repaint recreates leased N987AS as flown from Guayaquil to La Paz, Asuncion, and Montevideo in March 1968, with authentic markings and period-correct detail. Built for FS2004, it features reflective textures, dynamic shine, and fully animated surfaces, and requires the Historic Jet Group CV990A base model.

Original by Erick Cantu. Master texture designs by Yannick Charland. Historic Jet Group design, dynamic shine, reflective textures and full animation. Information and pictures for the repaint supplied by Mark Cranston. Possibly the rarest 990 of them all. Area Ecuador (Aerovias Ecuatorianas) leased N987AS from Alaska Airlines from March 1968 to operate services from Guyaquil to La Paz, Asuncion, and Montevideo. Textures by Tony Madge.
