FS2004 C&S Lockheed Electra L10A

Chicago & Southern Airlines textures bring a pre-1953 look to the Lockheed Electra L-10A, including an updated flight dynamics file and markings for the “City of New Orleans” airframe. Designed for FS2004 and requires the FSDesign-Berlin L10A base aircraft, it adds period-correct details for classic airline routes.

These textures are for Chicago & Southern Airlines. This livery was used prior to the merger with Delta Airlines in 1953. This was more a merger than a takeover, as it was about half the size of Delta, and had access to the Caribbean, opening up more extensive routes to Delta. C&S began with the name Pacific Seaboard and when service to the Chicago area began the name was changed to Chicago & Southern, in 1935. C&S operated a fleet of Stinson SM-600Bs (Tri-Motor), which were replaced by a fleet of 6 Lockheed Electras in 1936. Later to be replaced by DC-3s, and finally by Lockheed 649As. The Electra repainted here was named City of New Orleans, and was purchased March 31, 1936.

In order to use these textures you will need to have anyone of FSBerlin Electras in your FS2004 aircraft folder and the updated FD also available at FSDesign-Berlin. Just make a copy of your original Electra Texture folder, and rename it Texture.C&S , then extract the 5 textures in this zip and when asked if you want to replace the textures already in the folder just say yes.

Then add the following to your aircraft config. and change the xx to the next number in your list. You are now set to fly.
