FS2004 Casablanca Air France Lockheed L-10A F-AMPJ

Lockheed L-10A Electra F-AMPJ recreates the Air France movie aircraft seen in Casablanca, bringing period flair to FS2004 with an updated FS-Design Berlin model, refined shine, and tidy bug fixes. It includes Dale DeLuca’s repaint and a detailed virtual cockpit, and requires the included VC gauges for full cockpit functionality.

We know Air France never used the Electra, but in the legendary movie Casablanca with Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman the Electra had a fascinating movie part in the outfit of Air France. This is an update (version 2) of the FSDS2/FS2004 Electra L-10 from FS-Design Berlin with improved shiny effects and some bug fixes. Livery repaint by Dale DeLuca; improved model by Arik Hohmeyer (FS-Design Berlin).

Installation in FS2004:

  • Unpack/extract the contents of the main zip-file into FS2004's Aircraft folder.
  • Unzip the contents of VC_Gauges.zip to the \Gauges directory of FS2004. You don't need to install the VC Gauges newly if you have installed the NWA Electra before.

Sound:

Unfortunately, we don't know any original Electra sound. But Dale DeLuca - who still has flown the Electra - recommends the P-40 sound by Mike Hambly. In this way Dale remembers the powerful sound of the Electra. This sound was recently offered in the T-6 Texan file (t6v2.zip).

FS2004 add-on

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place files per readme

    FS2004 add-ons go into FS9\Aircraft\, FS9\Addon Scenery\, FS9\Gauges\, or FS9\Effects\.

  3. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
