FS2004 American Airlines Douglas DC-3 NC21798

Texture only for the payware MAAM-Sim DC3. The base textures for repainting are by Mark Beaumont, original textures are by Jan Visser. This livery was painted by Dale DeLuca.

These textures are for American Airlines. The DC-3 was developed from the existing DC-2, which was developed by Douglas at the urging of TWA as a replacement for their Tri Motor fleet. The DC-2 was a success, but only had a capacity of 14 passengers. The DC-3 was originally designed as a sleeper airliner for American Airlines, with 7 upper and 7 lower sleeping berths, and a private compartment forward. It was soon realized that by eliminating the sleeping berths and private compartment, the load capacity could be changed to 21 seats. It was an immediate success. It was the first commercial airliner equipped with automatic pilot, heated cabin, and soundproofing. It soon became the flagship of the worlds airlines, and is still flying in various parts of the world today.

Installation:

Just make a copy of your original texture.ual folder, and rename it Texture.AA then extract the textures in this zip and when asked if you want to replace the textures already in the folder just say yes. Then add the following to your aircraft config. and change the xx to the next number in your list. You are now set to fly.
