Originally delivered to the USAF in 1943, this C47 YV-500C was the airplane that took a flight from Kabul, Afghanistan, to Thompson, Canada in 55 hours 30 minutes during several stopovers along Asia and Europe, commanded by Capt. Jack Lamb. This is the current livery of this legendary airplane. Being the latest acquisition of Aeroejecutivos, this DC-3/C-47 YV-1179C was previously operated by ALIANSA COLOMBIA.
