This is an upgrade to the default FSX MD-83. Have you ever wanted to fly the MD-83, but couldn't get it to work properly? Why pay twenty five dollars for a payware plane that you don't know if you'll even like, when you can use this upgrade and get it for free? Please note: This file is for FSX Only.
- Unzip the contents of the zip file to a folder of your choice (it is most convenient to unzip it to the FSX Simobjects/Airplanes folder).
- Copy the folder inside the zip file to the FSX Simobjects/Airplanes folder.
- Check in the MD_83 folder to make sure everything is there. There should be all of the following folders:
Model, Panel, Sound, Soundai, Texture, Texture.1, Texture.2, Aircraft.cfg, MD_83.air and a thumbnail. - Fire up FSX and go fly.
Notes:
- If you want to replace the panel with a new one just go into the Panel folder and delete the existing panel. Then replace it with the panel that you want to use. The default panel is the CRJ-700 panel.
