FS2004 AFCAD2 File For Castlegar Airport

Castlegar Airport (CYCG) AFCAD2 update for FS2004 refines runway surfaces and markings by preventing ground textures from bleeding through and correcting reversed runway designator numbers. Designed to replace the earlier CYCG AFCAD shipped with the Castlegar scenery, it brings cleaner runway presentation and more accurate on-field visuals for approaches and taxi operations.

Castlegar Airport (CYCG), British Columbia (BC), Canada. This file replaces the AFCAD2 file uploaded with the Castlegar scenery. It fixes the problem of the ground texture showing through the runway and runway designator numbers. By Vern Opperman.

This file replaces the AFCAD2 file uploaded with my Castlegar scenery. It fixes the problem of the ground texture showing through the runway and runway designator numbers being reversed. To install just cut and paste the AF2_CYCG.bgl to where you placed the previous version. If you installed it as per my instructions in the Castlegar file then it is in your FS2004/Addon Scenery/Scenery folder.

Thanks to Nigel Grant, Mike Langhan, Jozef Kustess and David Fidler for taking the time to send me screenshots so I could troubleshoot and fix the problem.

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
