Aermacchi MB-326 Italian service repaints bring five authentic Squadriglie collegamenti schemes to FSX, covering 602a, 636a, 609a, 653a, and 651a markings with crisp exterior textures suited to training and liaison flying. Textures only, requires Dino Cattaneo MB-326 (MB326_V100.ZIP) for the base model and files.

Installation:

  • Rename original aircraft.cfg to aircraft_old.cfg.
  • Rename original xxx.air file to xxx_old.air.
  • Copy aircraft.cfg and .air file from zip to the aircraft directory.
  • Edit the new aircraft.cfg to insert your repaints from the original aircraft_old.cfg (the [fltsim.x] section) and modify it.

FSX / P3D add-on

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place files per the readme

    Most FSX add-ons go into one of: SimObjects\Airplanes\, Addon Scenery\, Effects\, or Gauges\.

  3. Always read the included readme
