FSX Air Jamaica Texture Pack

Air Jamaica texture pack refreshes the default Airbus A321 and Boeing 737-800 plus the McDonnell Douglas MD-83 with authentic old and new-era liveries for FSX, including two variants per jet except the MD-83. Custom splash screens round out the set, and the MD-83 livery requires the MD-83 flyable base pack.

FSX Air Jamaica Texture Pack. This is the Air Jamaica Texture Pack for the FSX default Airbus A321, Boeing 737-800, and McDonnell Douglas MD-83. The pack includes two liveries of each aircraft except the MD-83: two textures in old, and new in the A321 and B737-800 aircraft. An old livery is included of the MD83 aircraft. Two of the three old liveries might need to have improvements on the tail later. Splash screens are included. The MD-83 flyable base pack is required for the MD-83 (MD-83BP.ZIP). By Victor Vu.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D Repaint

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Add livery to base aircraft folder

    Place the texture folder (typically texture.{airline}) inside FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\{base-aircraft}\.

  3. Update aircraft.cfg

    Open the base aircraft.cfg in Notepad. Add a new [fltsim.X] section per the readme.

  4. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
