Cessna 441 Conquest refresh for Microsoft Flight Simulator X adds a distinctive “Drunken Stripe” livery alongside 32-bit DDS textures, corrected exterior artifacts, and crisper cockpit surfaces. A darker, high-contrast virtual cockpit panel with matched GPS 500 textures, refined emissive lighting, and tidier compass graphics installs as a separate model and requires the Flight1 Cessna 441 Conquest.
Cessna 441 Conquest. This is the second in a series of repaints and texture updates for the venerable Flight1 Cessna Conquest. In addition to the previous updates this version features: DDS 32 bit extended 888-8 textures; Corrected texture anomalies; an all original 'drunken stripe' paint scheme; defaulted size and placement of 2D gauge windows; sharper cockpit textures; new dark / clean high contrast VC panel; new darker GPS 500 texture coordinated to the new panel; less harsh emissive lighting to allow continual cockpit lightening; cleaned up VC compass texture. This texture set is added as a new model and will not affect your existing model. By Jim Allen.

OVERVIEW
This is the second in a series of repaints and texture updates for the venerable F1 Cessna Conquest.
In addition to the previous updates this version features:
1) DDS 32 bit extended 888-8 textures
2) Corrected several texture anomalies including the seam on top of the panel
and the 'nick' in the spinning props.
3) An all original 'Drunken Stripe' paint scheme.
4) Defaulted size and placement of 2d gauge windows.
5) Sharper cockpit textures.
6) New dark / clean high contrast VC panel
7) New darker GPS 500 texture coordinated to the new panel
8) Less harsh emissive lighting to allow continual cockpit lightening.
9) Cleaned up VC compass texture.
This texture set is added as a new model and will not affect your existing model.
INSTALLATION
Simply click and drop the "SimObjects" and "Gauges" folders into your
"..\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\" main folder.
Answer YES to the overwrite prompts.
Files that are updated are listed below so you may want to back these up first!
KNOWN ISSUES
The spinning prop textures will appear behind non-cirrus clouds in flight.
This will be corrected whan a module update is issued by Flight One.
Likewise, the conquest textures do not appear when running in DX10 Preview mode.
Here again, my understanding is that a modle update is required to fix this.
Look for future updates to correct these issues.
Enjoy
Jim Allen
